From all of these, which will be best for your? For any new blogger it will be very tough to find out some suitable, easy tips for him.

But all fellow bloggers writes about some basic criteria or needs which are common. So, it’s very important for any newbie to follow just one or two fellow bloggers blogs.

Start reading several blogs today, you will find that no one is writing anything wrong. There are lots of ways to create a better blog, you can choose any of those. Everybody is writing with their own experiences and views.

Dear readers,

Keep your main focus to build a strong basic in blogging field. In my previous post I gave some tips for beginner blogger, which was a little bit theoretical. After choosing a better and unique topic it’s time to do something practical.

In this post I am giving some tips you should keep in mind during create your first blog with blogger, wordpress or other blog hosting services.

Sign up with blogger.com

Signup with wordpress.com

1. Choose a Blogging Platform:

Since you are interested in blogging, probably you already hear about some well-known blogging platform. There are many like bogger.com, wordpress.org, today.com and so on. You can start with any of those. But for a novice blogger, the most easy and suitable platform is blogger.com, second wordpress.org.

Why blogger.com is first I will describe these in my later post. If you start blogging with this, you will find the answer.

If you want to build a nice looking blog, you can start with wordpress.org. You can give your blog a nice design; your readers will get really impressed with that.

There is another option, called self hosted blog. At the beginning it will be very tough for you to build a better and optimized self hosted blog. So start first with blogger.com, gather some experiences than you can jump to your own blog like a real professional blogger.

2. Creation of Blog:

After choosing your blogging platform it’s time to create your first blog. This process will 5 to 10 minutes to be done.

The basic requirement to open account is an email address. With blogger.com or wordpress.org it will take steps to complete the registration. Enter correct information in all the fields step by step. During registration give special attention to your domain name and blog title.

3. Domain Name:

Try to include one or two keywords in your domain name and that related to your blogging subject. It’s very important if you want to apply some search engine optimization techniques to your blog.

When a search engine start searching for any specific keyword, first it start looking searching in the domain name for that keyword and 2nd time it start searching in the title or description and others parts.

4. Blog Title and Description:

After choosing a suitable domain name, give an attractive title and description of your blog. Give a nice and easy understandable description of your blog below the title. Describe what is your blog about, your blogging purpose etc.

Don’t provide anything that is not related to your subject.

The title and description will appear on the opening page, so when your readers will not find something they are looking for, they will leave.

5. Choosing a Template:

For any beginner blogger I will recommend to work with the default template at first. The classic and other available templates in blogger.com are easy to optimize for any new blogger. There are lots of free wonderful templates for blogs on the internet. After gathering some well experiences it will be very easy to optimize blog with any template. Choose a template that always reflects your blogging theme. If your blogging topic is about motorbike than you must not use an airplane template!

6. Write Great Content for your Blog:

You have completed above 5 steps, which means you are half way done. Now start to creating post, its easy to create a post but hard to create a great post. Your blogging post must be related with your blog title. If your blog is about computer tips than you should not write anything about Hollywood!

Always write quality content. The quality of your posts is the main key of your blog traffic.

Give special attention for inside or outside links in your posts. Make sure there is no dead or error link in your blog.

7. Start posting regularly:

Great! You are done!
No, this is just the beginning. A lot of hard works you have to do, so prepare yourself for this.
Make posts regularly in your blog. Try to do it once or twice a day. After some successful great posting (5-10), start searching for how to increase your blog traffic. Success in blogging mainly depends on traffic; you need lots of traffic, traffic and traffic to achieve your goal.

Using Blogs for Social Media Optimization

Blogs are one of six broad types of social media. This post will discuss how PR and marketing professionals can use blogs (even if you don't write your own) to increase brand awareness and credibility; the next will discuss all of the other tools of social media.

Blogs are a big deal; they are mainstream and competing with traditional media. There are a lot of them—Technorati tracks more than 15 million active blogs, and although the rate of growth has slowed, there are still thousands of new blogs started each day. Blogs help with SEO, whether you have your own or are generating links to your website from others. More than 60% of U.S. Internet users, and more 70% globally, have read a blog within the past 12 months. And blogs have become a key source of information for executive decision makers.

The first step in developing a blog strategy is understanding the landscape of blogs in your industry. You can search for relevant blogs using keywords pertaining to your business as well as searching for competitor names. While regular search engines can be used, that's a tedious process; it's much more efficient to use blog-specific search tools such as Google blog search, Technorati, BlogMarks, Blogarama and/or Blog Catalog. In addition, check out the blogrolls of the most relevant blogs you find.

The next step is to monitor blogs to discover what's being written about your company, product or other specific topic of interest. You can set up Google Alerts for free, although these won't catch everything (they're likely to miss quite a bit actually). Bloglines is a helpful free tool for monitoring blogs you've already identified; you can add their RSS feeds and monitor posts from one spot. If you have a modest budget (hundreds of dollars per month) for monitoring, try a service like WebClipping or CyberAlert. If you've got a bigger budget (thousands of dollars per month), you can step up to a professional-strength PR monitoring and current awareness tool such as Vocus, Moreover or YellowBrix.

Once you have a feel for the blog ecosystem in your industry, you can begin blogger outreach:

Commenting is a great way to start. Make sure your comments add something to the conversation and aren't simply self-promotional.

Contact the blogger as the next step. Contact should be personal (use the blogger's name, refer to the blog directly, act like you've been there before), compelling (tell a great story) and of course relevant to topics the blogger normally writes about.

Provide assets the blogger can use to enhance the post, such as original research results, images, video, or the offer of an interview with a key executive or other expert.

Writing a guest post is an excellent next step once you have a relationship of trust established with a blogger.

Promote posts when you get coverage. Increasing their exposure (and traffic) is a key incentive in getting bloggers to write about your topic.

And finally, follow up with key bloggers on your list. If they write about you, THANK THEM. If not, ask if it's okay for you to send them an occasional update on your firm/product/service and any interesting developments.

If you have your own blog, you can use many of these tactics to increase your audience through exposure on and links from other blogs. But even if you don't have your own, you can use these practices to increase exposure and build credibility for your company or product in relevant industry blogs.

How to Make Money on the Internet - Blogging

The internet is full of ways to make money and there are a lot of different approaches you can take to make money on the internet. Let me introduce you to blogging - more specifically let me explain to you how people make money on the internet with this fairly new method (think back 5 years, not 5 months).

What Exactly Is Blogging Anyway?

According to Wikipedia:

A blog is a user-generated website where entries are made in journal style and displayed in a reverse chronological order.

In plainer English, a blog is a website that shows the newest entries at the beginning, usually on the homepage. This website is a blog, and for that reason you will always find my newest writing on the homepage, at the top. As you scroll down, you will find the other entries I have written, newest to oldest.

What Are Blogs About?

There are blogs about everything! This blog teaches people how to make money on the internet. There are blogs about sports, news, fitness, cooking, humor, teaching, parenting, celebrities, and everything else you can imagine.

Blogs are a great format for news sites. Since blogs show the newest entries first, readers can easily find the most recent news stories. Bloggers (those who blog) post news about every industry, and provide their own opinions on the subject matter.

When blogs first started, they were created primarily to be online journals, but have now evolved into websites about anything and everything.

How To People Make Money Blogging?

The simple answer to that question is that blogs get traffic and convert it into money. Getting traffic is very possible with a blog, in fact it’s much easier to get traffic to a blog than it is to get traffic on traditional websites. I’ve created an entire series of posts on why blogs are the easiest way to get traffic and covert it into money. The method is called ‘Keyword Sniping’. In a nutshell, Keyword Sniping is the fastest and most direct way for people to pull search engine traffic to their websites and create a steady, low maintenance income.

Because of the immense popularity of the Keyword Sniping posts, I’ve created a free, downloadable report called “Introduction to Keyword Sniping: Your Shortest Path to $1,000 Per Month Online” that breaks down the entire philosophy. You can grab your copy of the book by filling out the easy form below (obviously I’ll never share or sell your information - it’s completely safe with me). The report will take you through all the steps for getting your first Keyword Sniper sites off the ground.

First Name:
Email:

Blogs can develop quite a following by people interested in the blog’s industry. Popular blogs can get thousands of hits per day. Gizmodo, Engadget, and Perez Hilton are three mega popular blogs which all get hundreds of thousands of visitors per day.

The traffic of most blogs is converted to money through advertising. That probably sounds difficult to you if you’re new, but it’s actually really easy. The primary revenue streams of most blogs are:

  • Ad-Boxes
    • Google Adsense - Anyone can sign up for this service and it’s 100% free to use. Google will display ads on your blog and pay you when they get clicked on. This is by far the easiest way to make money with your blog. If you look closely at my pages you will find ad units labeled ‘Ads by Google’.
    • Yahoo! Publishing - Yahoo’s version of Adsense. Yahoo’s version is also free to use.
  • Contextual Ads - These are ads that are displayed throughout the text of your blog. If you look closely through my pages you will see links that are double underlined. These are actually ads and if you hover over them, a little ad-box will pop up. The contextual ad company will pay for clicks on the links or the ad-box.
    • Intelitxt - The first major company to offer this type of advertising. It’s quite difficult to get an account with them unless you have over 500,000 hits per month.
    • Kontera - Another player in the contextual ad game. Kontera is easier to sign up for when you’re still small.
  • Affiliate Programs - Many bloggers sell products and services for other sites and receive appropriate commissions. There are tons of sites out there that offer free, affiliate programs including:
  • Text Links - Bloggers can sell links from there pages to other websites. Most bloggers that use this kind of revenue stream use a company called text-link-ads.com. Their service is free to use and their company will sell the ads for you. The sites that purchase them pay monthly, and you get paid monthly.
  • Direct Sales - Some bloggers sell their own products and services.

How Much Can A Person Make Blogging?

That’s really tough question to answer. Some blogs create $500,000 per year and some make $0. The amount a person can make with a blog depend on a lot of factors including:

  • Blogger’s Knowledge and Experience
  • Quality and Quantity of Blog’s Information
  • Marketing
  • Determination
  • Longevity
  • Luck (This isn’t a joke but it is of course possible to create luck.)

I think that it’s very possible to create an income in the high five and even six figures for individuals that posses the right talent and determination. If you are thinking about becoming a blogger, you should visit this article: Making Money Online - Is This Business For You?

In my opinion, blogging is the easiest of all the methods of making money online, at least for beginners. It is also a stepping stone for those wishing to move onto more difficult online, money-making methods. If you’re interested in starting a blog, you should read this: 5263 Words On Starting A Profitable Blog. It provides the basics of getting a blog set up to make money on the internet.

Making Money On The Internet Rules
Update: It has now been almost four years that I have been making money on the internet and I can tell you that it’s probably the funnest way to make money ever. I have to say that I freaking love it!

Top 3 Ways To Get Free Inbound Links

There are numerous reasons why incoming links weigh a lot from a search engine's point of view. First off, they establish your page rank and search engine rankings. The amount of sites linking to you is proof of your worth to Internet users. If you’re really doing well, you'll be able to land even at the top spot of the natural search results, which means heavy traffic and greater conversion rate for your online business.

So how exaclty do you get free quality inbound links? Here are 3 easy ways to achive just that:

1. Write keyword rich articles and send them to as many article directories as possible. Content is without a doubt the king of the World Wide Web. You should add links in the body of your article, which will bring quality targeted traffic to your site, not just incoming links. Also, remember to write a compelling resource box, one that will make the reader want to find out more of what your site has to offer.

2. Develop your own blog. More and more people discover and enjoy reading blogs. This is because bloggers are very generous with their information. They reveal some personal insights and past experiences that can help you in your business and/or personal affairs. Blogs, from the SEO point of view, provide a major advantage as they get indexed by Google a lot easier than a normal site. That alone provides you with a big advantage. Moreover, if you leave a link to your blog by making comments on other people’s blogs, you’re actually providing yourself an incoming link.

Developing your Blogroll is also very important - this means exchanging links with other bloggers witch will benefit both parties.

3. Take part in forum discussions. You should begin searching for related message boards and chat rooms. After developing a good list, you should start signing up. You will discover that these forums actually let you to build your own profile as well as add your signature, which should contain links to your sites which will of course appear in every single post you make. As long as your chosen discussion boards have a good Google Page Rank, you can look to benefit from their increased page rank. Even more, webmasters could find your site useful to their readers and link back to you from their site thus sending you quality traffic.

It is recommended to use all of these different methods on a regular basis if you really want to grow your site and your business.

in Blogger Admin Settings with any available name. Better do it during
the non-peak hours of your blog. When there are less visitors accessing
your blog. Then, click Formatting in the Blogger Setting and change the post timestamp into mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss AM/PM, the first option in drop-down menu. After that, click Archiving and set Archive Frequency to “monthly”. Then, import your Blogger blog posts and comments

your original blog being inaccessible, implement a temporary
redirection to your Wordpress blog directory prior to deletion. Then,
upload your Wordpress blog to the root directory where your original
    blog is located.
  11. Now, type your original blog URL in your web browser address bar
and your Wordpress blog should appear. If everything is fine, you may
delete or disable your Blogger blog permanently. Search engine robot
access to your blog backup directory in your server must be disallowed
using robots.txt to prevent duplicate content.

How to make money from blogs - Jobs as a blogger

Once you have become a blogebrity, a whole host of earning options arise. Mainstream media or blogs offer editorial roles. Since your contribution will increase their readership, they will pay you for it.

When blognation, a blog about budding entrepreneurs in the technology and mobile space came to India, they were looking for a person with passion and experience. Shankar fitted the bill. At present, he is the editor-in-chief of blognation India. Juneja is a guest blogger for Channel V's show My India Report. However, she says that she takes up such "offline offers" only when it interests her.
