How to make money from blogs

Goodbye, cyberspace! hello, blogiverse! blogosphere? blogmos?" asked writer Brad LGraham in jest when speculating about the future of blogs in a post on his own blog on 10 September 1999. A report by Technorati, a search engine for blogs, says that in October 2006, the number of people associated with Graham's blogosphere (worldwide network of blogs) was 57 million and counting, whereas in January 2000 the number was around a modest 3,000.

Anybody maintaining an online diary or a blog is a blogger. Bloggers have their own community, an idea, a message, and a spirit to share and initiate healthy debate. With the mouse as their muse they have gained followers all over the world, who read and respect their opinion. Although purists would scorn, some bloggers are making serious money from their blogs, and so can you.
